ReCAAP ISC-RSIS Maritime Roundtable 2018 aims to provide a platform for participants to provide their views on a specific topic: “Whether a single reporting centre on piracy and armed robbery against ships is the answer to timely reporting from ships; and timely response from relevant authorities”. Among the points of discussion at the Roundtable: Are the existing systems effective? What are the key limitations of current systems from the perspective of industry and enforcement? What are the main arguments for the need of a single reporting centre?
